Lisa Meng, Ph.D.

VP, Biometrics

Lisa was appointed Vice President of Biometrics in November 2021. Since joining Cytokinetics in 2011, Lisa has made an extraordinary impact within the company both operationally and strategically as Head of Biometrics. She has built a strong team with experts in biostatistics, data management, statistical programming and data management and clinical systems that are fully embedded in the drug development process of the company. Her personal contributions have enhanced the value of the Cytokinetics pipeline by bringing data and analytics to strategic informed decision-making.

Prior to Cytokinetics, Lisa most recently worked as Director of Biostatistics and Head of Biometrics at Telik, Inc., where she applied her skills to drug development and obtained patents for composition and methods to treat myelodysplastic syndrome. Prior to that, she worked as Principal Biostatistician at CV Therapeutics and as a Statistical Consultant for Roche.

Lisa received an M.S. in Biostatistics and Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Lisa has a profound respect and appreciation for nature. She and her family enjoy spending time exploring the U.S. National Parks and traveling to the many other wonders the world has to offer.
