Stacy A. Rudnicki, M.D.

Stacy has held the role of Vice President of Clinical Research and Therapeutic Area Lead, Neuromuscular since November 2021. Stacy joined Cytokinetics in 2015, serving as Medical Director, Neuromuscular until 2018, and as Senior Medical Director from 2018 until 2021. In her time at Cytokinetics, Stacy has served as a clinical lead for both the tirasemtiv and reldesemtiv programs and recently led the strategic direction and transition of the reldesemtiv program from Phase 2 to Phase 3 and the design and initiation of COURAGE-ALS.

Prior to joining Cytokinetics, Stacy had a long-standing academic career at the University of Arkansas where she was a Professor of Neurology and held the Kathryn and J Thomas May Endowed Chair in ALS. Stacy also served as Director of the MDA Clinic, ALS Clinic, EMG Lab, and Neuromuscular Division at the University. During her tenure at the University of Arkansas, Stacy served as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator on numerous industry-sponsored clinical trials evaluating novel therapies for neuromuscular diseases.

Stacy received a B.S. in Pre-Professional Studies from the University of Notre Dame and an M.D. from Milton Hershey Medical School of the Pennsylvania State University.

Stacy enjoys spending time in northwest Montana hiking the trails of Glacier National Park and biking on country back roads. Growing up in Pittsburgh in a family that loved watching sports, the Steelers remain her favorite pro team and she will forever be cheering for the Irish.
