VP, Human Resources

YulyMae has held the role of Vice President of Human Resources since November 2021. She joined Cytokinetics in September 2015 and brings over 15 years of experience in human resources. Her expertise extends across the spectrum of Human Resources including talent acquisition, talent management and leadership development, employee engagement, total rewards strategies, and building an inclusive and collaborative culture.

Additionally, YulyMae has played an instrumental role in forming and leading Cytokinetics’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Respect Council and Committee. Prior to joining Cytokinetics, YulyMae held leadership roles at Pharmacyclics and Onyx Pharmaceuticals. She also spent the first part of her career in hospital and healthcare with increasing responsibilities in Sutter Health and Hawaii Pacific Health.

She received a B.S. in Business Management from University of Phoenix and an M.S. in Human Resources Management from Golden Gate University.

As a self-proclaimed “foodie” and “wanderlust”, YulyMae loves traveling and experiencing new culture and cuisines. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, grown children, and two dogs, Kimo, a German Shepherd and Mochi, a Golden Retriever.
