Bradley P. Morgan, Ph.D.

SVP, Research and Non-Clinical Development

Brad has been with Cytokinetics since 2002, serving in a variety of roles across research and non-clinical development including positions in medicinal, process, and analytical chemistry, drug product and drug substance manufacturing, compound management, ADME/DMPK, pharmaceutical sciences, informatics, and automation. He is currently our Senior Vice President of Drug Discovery and Early Development.

Prior to joining Cytokinetics, Brad held several scientific and management positions at Pfizer Global research and development from 1993 to 2002. During that time, he focused on programs for treatments of obesity, diabetes, and related diseases, including nuclear receptor modulators and selective G-coupled protein receptor modulators. Brad is a member of the American Chemical Society and of the Faculty of 1000 in Pharmacology and Drug Discovery.

Dr. Morgan received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and performed post-doctoral studies at the California Institute of Technology.

Brad, his family, and numerous cats reside in Oakland Hills. Brad is a “gym rat” and enjoys early morning training sessions, Warriors basketball, and watching his kid’s activities.
