Christine Murray

SVP, Regulatory and Quality

Christine serves as our Senior Vice President of Regulatory and Quality. She joined Cytokinetics in April 2023.

Christine has a long career in regulatory affairs leading approvals of new therapies for patients with serious diseases, including rare genetic diseases. Prior to joining Cytokinetics, Christine held several roles at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical and as Head of Global Regulatory Affairs oversaw the approval of Crysvita, Mepsevii and Dojolvii in multiple markets. Christine previously held leadership positions including oversight of regulatory, quality and GCP teams at Raptor, Achaogen, Alexza and Gilead Sciences. Christine’s early career was spent in the UK as a hospital-based clinical chemist.

Christine received a BS in Biochemistry from Liverpool University, UK and an MS in Clinical Biochemistry from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK.

Christine moved to the San Francisco Bay Area from the UK in 2004. She enjoys travel, photography, and hiking in the Sierra mountains as well as the English and Scottish national parks.
