Daniel Jacoby, M.D.

VP, Clinical Research

Daniel Jacoby was appointed Vice President of Clinical Research in February 2025 and first joined Cytokinetics in January 2022. 

Before joining Cytokinetics, Dan served as Director Comprehensive Heart Failure Program at the Yale School of Medicine, and founder and Director of the Inherited Cardiomyopathy Program. He also served as the Clinical Director of Center for Innovation at Yale New Haven Hospital and was appointed Associate Professor of Internal Medicine. Dan was the primary investigator for multiple clinical trials and authored more than 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts. 

Dan graduated from Yale College and received his M.D. from Yale School of Medicine. He completed a residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and cardiology fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.   

Dan lives in Connecticut with his family, and is a lifelong running, reading, and music enthusiast.
