Elisabeth A. Schnieders, Ph.D.

SVP, Business Development

Elisabeth has served as Senior Vice President of Business Development since her promotion in December 2016. She has held positions of increasing responsibility in business development and alliance management since joining Cytokinetics in January 2000.

Her prior roles included responsibility for generating new business and managing collaborations at Acacia Biosciences and serving as the Associate Director of the University of California BioSTAR Project, a university-industry matching grants program.

Dr. Schnieders received an B.S. in Life Sciences from MIT and a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Elisabeth is a native Californian who enjoys spending time with her family in the San Francisco Bay Area and Mendocino county. In addition, she enjoys going to new restaurants, art exhibits, and music performances and catching up with extended family and friends in northern Europe.
