Keith Hoey

VP, Global Value, Access and Distribution (GVAD)

Keith was appointed Vice President of Global Value, Access & Distribution in November 2025. He joined Cytokinetics in September 2022 as Senior Director, leading the formation and expansion of the Account Director Payer Team within GVAD. His scope of leadership broadened in 2024 to include the entire U.S. Payer Account Management team, preceding his appointment to Vice President.

Keith has more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a background spanning both large pharma and biotech organizations. He spent 15 years at Merck in roles of increasing responsibility across commercial sales and marketing, operational, and market access functions. For the past 10 years, he has been recognized as a leader in the payer space, guiding market access teams from early development through successful launches at Bioverativ (later acquired by Sanofi Genzyme), Ascendis Pharma, and Cytokinetics.

Keith received his bachelor’s degree in Management and Finance from Providence College.

Keith and his wife Tara have 3 children and enjoy attending their children’s sports and outdoor activities. Keith is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching games, running, and spending time with extended family and friends.
