Megan Truong

Vice President, Quality

Megan has held the role of Vice President, Quality since August 2023. She joined Cytokinetics in March of 2022, bringing close to 30 years of experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry, including deep knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Clinical Practice.

In her time with Cytokinetics, Megan has played an instrumental role in building out the GxP Quality Assurance Department with the capacity and capability to support both Research and Development and Commercial activities. Prior to joining Cytokinetics, Megan held leadership roles at Theravance Biopharma and Boehringer Ingelheim. Before that, Megan spent the first part of her career in Quality Assurance at Amgen.

Megan received a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Megan is an avid traveler and dedicated food enthusiast. She is particularly fond of off-the-beaten-path destinations, and she seeks out unique and culturally rich experiences that broaden her perspective.
