Richey Neuman, M.D., M.P.H.
VP, Medical Affairs
Richey serves as Vice President of Medical Affairs, and joined Cytokinetics in February 2020.
Prior to Cytokinetics, Richey held Vice President of Medical Affairs positions at MyoKardia, Portola, Hyperion, and Teva. Before joining the pharmaceutical industry in 2006, Richey was on the medical faculty at the University of Pennsylvania. He joined Wyeth in 2006, which was acquired by Pfizer during his tenure.
Richey received his BS in Biology from Stanford University, MPH from the University of California Berkeley, MD from The Medical College of Pennsylvania, and was a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at Yale University School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Richey enjoys spending time with his wife, two college-age children and their Australian Labradoodle, Nesky. He likes playing French horn and along with his family enjoys hiking, skiing, running, travel, and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles.
