Robert C. Wong

VP, Chief Accounting Officer

Robert has been our Chief Accounting Officer since May 2019.

Prior to joining Cytokinetics, Robert was at Genentech for over 23 years with roles of increasing responsibility in accounting, reporting, and internal controls, most recently as Interim Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. He has extensive experience in accounting for mergers, acquisitions and business development collaborations, reporting under US and International accounting standards, and complying with internal control regulations. Prior to Genentech, Robert was an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young LLP for over seven years.

Robert received his B.S. in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance from the University of California, Berkeley and is a certified public accountant.

A native San Franciscan, Robert enjoys his spare time working on a house or car repair project and spending time with his wife and three kids during their school and dance activities.
